Privacy

Caddis mobile 1.0 is local-only: it has no account, advertising, analytics, tracking, payment, crash-reporting, or cloud-upload SDK. Files you choose, recents, thumbnails, settings, measurements, markups, and saved views stay on the device. The mobile app collects no user data.

A mobile source or generated review file leaves Caddis only when you explicitly choose a destination from the operating system share sheet. Caddis does not receive that file unless you separately choose to send it to support.

The Caddis web product may offer optional account and cloud features separately. Those features are not present in the mobile 1.0 binary and do not change the mobile app's Data Not Collected declaration.

When you use Caddis Cloud (a Pro feature), we store what is needed to continue a review across devices: project metadata, the scene your device derives from the drawing, your review overlays (measurements, markups, visible layers, and view state), thumbnails, and — only if you separately choose to upload it — the original source file. Files are held in private cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) with project metadata in a managed database; source geometry and your review overlays are stored separately.

Web accounts and sign-in are handled by Clerk; we verify your identity token and keep a minimal profile (an internal id, your email, and display name). Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe — Caddis never receives or stores your card details.

You are in control. From your account page you can export your cloud data or delete your account at any time. Deletion revokes your sessions and share links immediately, soft-deletes your projects, and removes stored files within 30 days. We do not place your drawings in analytics or logs.

Our local-first promise

Cloud sync, source uploads, and share links are opt-in, per project. A local session is never turned into a cloud project unless you choose to save it.
